| DESCRIPTION:
Shell & tube type heat exchangers with all ancillaries are used to transfer heat from higher temperature fluid to a secondary lower temperature fluid. Depending on the application, intention is sometimes to use the heat of higher temperature fluid and in other cases the lower one.
As it happens in air conditioning heat-pump systems, depending on the season both primary and secondary fluids can act as heat dissipater or absorber. While one fluid is mostly water, the other one can be again water, oil, a chemical fluid or gas. Although the name itself defines the primary fluid as ''water'', there may be cases where non of the fluids are water.
In this  section you will find features, technical details, operating principles and pictures of various types of commercial and industrial coolers/ heat exchangers.
